Whether it’s a wedding, social gathering or corporate event, our staff can handle the intricate details and designs along with your florals, linens, lighting, draping and other rental needs. Sherronda Scoggins- CEO & Creative Designer
Sherronda Scoggins is the Founder and Creative Director for KC Events & Florals, located in Houston, TX. Sherronda is an Air Force veteran who has a background in fashion design and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Leadership. With over sixteen (16) years of floral and event design experience, she has designed intimate to large installations in some of Houston’s finest establishments and beyond. Since a teenager, Sherronda has had a love for flowers and events. She wanted to combine her love for flowers, fashion design and leadership skills to form a company that would deliver a product and service that evokes happiness and creates memories that would not only create value, but also make an impact on and in any community. Sherronda makes it a point to give back to her community whether its feeding and providing for the homeless, giving flowers to nursing homes and cancer centers, or mentoring other aspiring and established business owners. She is a Houston certified WBEA (Women Business Enterprise Alliance) member, and a member of ILEA (International Live Events Association), The Houston Hispanic Chamber and The East End Chamber. Sherronda’s extensive knowledge in floristry has landed her speaking engagements, podcast interviews, teaching workshops, magazine publications, newspaper write ups and the opportunity to work on large floral structures throughout the Houston metroplex and neighboring cities.
